Auditions: Monday and Tuesday, March 3 & 4 at 7:30pm

You must be registered by 8:30 p.m. to audition on either evening. Auditionees need not attend both sessions. Out of respect for those auditioning, please do not bring young children to the auditions.

Father: Tenor to A, audition song: Let There Be (mature Man aged 35-60)

Adam: Tenor to Ab, audition song: the end of A World Without You (Male - Age mid 30's)

Eve: Mezzo to E, audition song: the end of The Spark of Creation (Female - Age mid 30's)

Young Cain: Adam and Eve’s son, audition song: Wilderness Family (prayer) (Male age 8-10)

Young Abel: Adam and Eve’s son, audition song: Wilderness Family (prayer) (Male age 8-10)

Cain: Adam and Eve’s son, Tenor to Ab, audition song Lost in the Wilderness Reprise (Male - late teens - mid 20's)

Abel: Adam and Eve’s son, Baritone to F, audition song: Close to Home (Male - late teens / mid 20's)

Noah: Baritone to F#, audition song: The Hardest Part of Love (Male - age mid 40-50)

Mama: Noah’s wife, Mezzo to F#/A, audition song: Ain't it Good (Female - age mid 40-50)

Japheth: Noah’s youngest son (may be played by the same actor who plays Cain in Act 1) Baritone to F, audition song: solo in Piece of Eight (Male - late teens - mid 20's)

Yonah: The servant girl that Japheth wishes to marry, Alto or Mezzo, audition song Sailor of the Skies (Female - late teens - mid 20's)

Ham: Noah’s son, (may be played by the same actor who plays Abel in Act 1) ( Male - mid 20's to 30's)

Ensemble children, audition song: Close to Home (the counting)

Ensemble / Storytellers, All Voices, audition song: In The Beginning. There are many featured options (solos/features) for Storytellers.

Additional Information: Please be prepared to list all potential rehearsal conflicts on the audition form. Selected readings of the play will be used for the auditions. It is highly advised that auditionees be familiar with the entire play. There maybe a dance audition. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. Perusal copies may be borrowed for a limited time. Please be aware that limited copies are available.
