In this Tony Award®-winning musical, Millie Dillmount escapes to New York City determined to marry her wealthy boss — whoever he may be.
Bobbing her hair and assuming the modern look of a “flapper,” she soon finds herself involved with Jimmy Smith, a poor but fun-loving paperclip
salesman; Dorothy Brown, a gentle aspiring actress; Trevor Graydon III, a pompous but wealthy boss; Muzzy van Hossmere, a madcap cabaret
singer and heiress; and the sinister Mrs. Meers, who employs two Chinese henchmen (who don’t speak English) to kidnap any orphaned women
checking into her Hotel Priscilla as part of her dealings in white slavery. Will Millie get her man? And if so, which one? Will Mrs. Meers succeed in
her dastardly plan? Follow Millie’s adventures through such toe-tapping numbers as the title song (“Thoroughly Modern Millie”), “Forget About
the Boy,” “What Do I Need with Love?” and “Long As I’m Here with You.”
