Being that the show is set in the South Pacific during World War II, unique props are required. You need a lot of military stuff. A relative of Diane Cliff, Co-Prop Chair for the show, loaned us a military radio from that era. Lots of folks loaded duffle bags and other military stuff. Gordon Mosley, our resident prop and set genius, made a huge map of the Coral Sea area of the South Pacific. We’ve gathered up military insignia for display on the uniforms. And we’ve gathered up uniforms.
Then there is Bali Ha’i and all the Bloody Mary stuff. One of the most unique is the shrunken head. Our Director, Brian Townsend, is seen in the above photo holding a head he fashioned with clay using a Hallowe’en decoration (a small skull) as a base. The man is gifted.
