I went to the Guild on Saturday with the mail. President John Sczomak was there. He told me that Spartan Specialities is done setting the helical piers which are designed to keep the new Clubroom floor from sinking. Spartan Specialities finished their work in a timely fashion. It was a tough, dirty job, but they did it well.
You can’t really tell the scope of the work from the pictures. That’s the Clubroom fireplace with “gas off” written on the wall above the opening. The green mark indicates a place where one of the piers was installed.
President John said, “You never know what you’ll find at the Guild,” when commenting about the other picture.
Greco construction comes back next week to finsih the removal of the old floor and begin the installation of a new one.
