England, 1920 — It’s a rainy night outside the hallowed halls of Uptight Abbey whenthe body of Lord Horatio Uptight is discovered with a large knife in his back! Who committed the crime? And why? And will the whole matter be cleared up before the Dowager Duchess arrives for dinner? In this send-up, where Downton Abbey meets Agatha Christie to play Clue, the tried-and-true entertainment of the murder mystery gets a comical, theatrical twist as the Uptight family and their intrepid staff attemptto solve (and possibly confess to) the murder of Lord Uptight. It’s an evening filled with devoted butlers, suspicious maids, conniving cousins, elderly eccentrics, and —above all — good grammar.
