she witnesses her mobster boyfriend, Curtis Jackson, murder an associate. After reporting the
crime to the police, Deloris is quickly shuffled into witness protection at a nearby convent. Cut
off from the outside world and under the watchful eye of the convent’s uptight Mother Superior,
Deloris soon finds herself joining the ranks of the convent’s choir. The religious musical
ensemble is quite lackluster, but Deloris uses her talents to shape them up and they eventually
become a sensation What follows is a madcap whirlwind full of action, thrills, romance… and
the Pope! Based on the 1992 Whoopi Goldberg vehicle of the same name, Sister Act takes all the
fun of its onscreen counterpart and dials it up to 11 to create the glitziest story involving nuns the world has ever known. There’s truly something for everyone in this musical extravaganza.

THE PLAYERS GUILD OF DEARBORN COVID-19 POLICY
The Players Guild of Dearborn has also updated our face mask policy by linking it to the level of
transmission risk in our region as determined by the CDC.
Three levels of transmission risk have been identified by the CDC:
1. Low; Green: Members, Patrons and others in the PGD building are not required to wear masks
at the Low level of risk. People may continue to wear a mask based on personal preference.
2. Medium; yellow: Members, Patrons and others in the PGD building are not required to wear
masks at the Medium level of risk, however, they should: Consider wearing masks indoors and
testing in advance of interactions if a close contact or relative is at high risk of severe disease,
and, if immunocompromised, talk to a doctor about whether masking or other precautions are
necessary.
3. High; orange: Members, Patrons and others in the PGD building are required, at the High level
of risk, to wear a well-fitting mask indoors regardless of vaccination status, except in
circumstances where they are working alone (i.e., office, shop, etc.)
Currently the Covid-19 Community level in Wayne County is Medium (Yellow). Consequently, Members,
Patrons and others in the PGD building are not required to wear masks at the Medium level of risk.
Everyone may continue to wear a mask based on personal preference.
Please see our Health and Safety Guidelines page for a full explanation of our policies.
