The Production Team

It takes a lot of people to get a show like A Little Night Music on the stage. At the Players Guild of Dearborn, those people are collectively know as “The Production Team.” The pieces that go together to make up a production team are as important, and maybe “more” important, than the actors. A theatre friend of mine used to say, “The play is the picture and everything else is the frame and a lousy frame can spoil a beautiful picture.” The production team is responsible for “everything else.”

You can get some idea of the number of people on Guild production teams by looking at the Past Shows pages on the  website. All of the shows done at the Guild starting with the 2000-2001, our 73rd season, are there. Cast and Production Team are listed for each show. In addition, there are show pictures for many of the productions.

The Production Team for A Little Night Music includes the following individuals.

Future blog posts will focus on the efforts of the folks listed above. A weekend in the country is in the making.
